After breakfast depart Manali and drive to Manikaran 75 kms /4 hours enroute Kullu, Manikaran is located in the Parvati Valley between the rivers Vyaas and Parvati, northeast of Bhuntar in the Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. Manikaran is a pilgrimage centre for Hindus and Sikhs. The Hindus believe that Manu recreated human life in Manikaran after the flood, making it a sacred area. It has many temples and a gurudwara.After sightseeing at Manikaran,we would transfer you to Kullu(45 kms/2 hours),there would be a half day sightseeing tour of Kullu. Day 01:- Arrival Manali

Day 04:- Visit Key kibber back to Kaza (full day) or
Visit the famous Kye gompa, of the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism, perched high on a pyramid-like mountain. Also explore Kibber (4200 m), one of the highest permanent inhabited villages in the world, which is located in a bowl - shaped narrow valley. Return to Kaza in the evening; explore this small town, overnight at hotel.

Day 05:- Kaza to Tabo via Pin Valley
Travel from Kaza to Pin Valley, the land of Ibex and Snow Leopards. Visit Kungri monastery at Pin Valley. Continue drive to Tabo. Visit Tabo monastery. Founded in 996 AD by the great teacher Richensang-po, Tabo is renowned for its breathtaking murals and stucco images – and is often called “The Ajanta of the Himalayas”. The largest monastic complex in Spiti, the old section has 9 temples, 23 chortens, a monk’s chamber and a nun’s chamber. There are several caves adorned with frescoes and Contemporary structures too. In Trans Himalayan Buddhism, Tabo’s sanctity is next only to Tibet’s Tholing gompa, overnight at hotel.

Day 06:- Tabo to Kaza via Dhankar
Drive to Dhankar Visit gompa. This Gompa rests high over the valley and is a stupendous example of local architecture. It is regarded to have once been a fort and was also the residence of the ruler of Spiti – the Nano. On the way you will visit the Lalung Gompa. Continue drive to Kaza, overnight at Hotel.

Day 07:- Kaza to Manali
Drive back from Kaza to Manali enroute crossing over Kunzam Pass providing beautiful views of CB ranges and Rohtang Pass, on arrival checks in at hotel, overnight at hotel.

Day 08:- Depart Manali After breakfast check out of hotel, end of service.

TRIP INTRODUCTION This trekking tour lasts for 5 days, sets out near Prini village 2000 m. 3 kms south of Manali or from Sethan 2750m and terminates at Chatru 3320m in Lahoul. Considered to be the most beautiful trek around Manali and can be done by anyone reasonable fit. The trail crosses the small villages of Hamta and Sethan. Hamta pass 4268m offers a magnificent view of Deo Tibaa 6001m and Indrasan 6221m.

1. Manali to leh [through tso moriri]

Manali: One of the most beautiful hill station in North nestled in north Himachal Pradesh. Lush green valley waits for your arrival. Your overland safari Mnalai to Ldakh begins very next day of your arrival in Manali to reach at Rohtang Pass ( 13000Ft Appox) which differ Lahaul valley & Spiti valley extreme North + North East of Himachal Pradesh and Manali valley.

Descending down from Rohtang pass suddenly overall vegetation get change which will make you feel to enter in different world. Following the Chandra & Bhaga rivers this is recommended to stop at either Keylong which is the distict headquarter of this region or bit further away to Jispa just before you ascend to baralacha Pass.

Jispa onwards you will encounter the second pass called Bara Lacha Pass surrounds by heavy snow and offers an incredible view of Trans Himalayan ranges. Further drive to Sarchu a flat ground drving an altitude of around 4000meter above sea level will be another major attraction. Gradual climb to reach at Pang where you may find some seasonal tea shop and eat some food. Further drive from this point you have Morai plains with dusty trails & take a right turn to enter in a gorge to enter in Tso Kar Valley which is a beautiful high altitude Sault lake and further drive will take to most beautiful Lake Tso Moriri ( 4573 M).

You may retrace back to Manali – Leh highway by crossing Tanglangla ( 17582 Ft). Awesome view from the top will you’re your cameras and descending down from this place for a while you will have luxury to drive on a proper road condition.

Bhrigu Lake Trek

Best Season - Mid June to October Bhrigu Lake is one of the most prominent, scenic lakes located in the Manali region at an altitude of 4,240 metres. The lake is nestled amid the Great Himalayas and its banks are believed to be the site where Maharishi Bhrigu, one of the seven renowned sages of the Hindu religion, meditated. It is also believed that this was the site where he wrote the Bhrigu Samhita, an astrological manuscript with predictions of the future and records of the past. The trail takes you through beautiful meadows and dense forests of fir, oak and pine trees, which makes this trek a truly rewarding experience. It is suitable for all age groups and is considered an easy trek.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: MANALI - GULABA - KOTHI THEL (2,900 MT.) Our representatives will meet you in Manali at 9:00 AM. After a quick briefing session, we drive to the meadows of Gulaba, which is the starting point of the trek. The views from the Upper Kullu Valley are quite spectacular. Today we trek for around 5 to 6 hours through rich, dense forests of Deodar to reach Kothi Thel, where we will camp for the night. Overnight stay in tents. Meals: lunch and dinner.

DAY 2: KOTHI THEL – BHRIGU LAKE (4,240 MT.) After an early morning breakfast, we begin today’s trek to Bhrigu Lake. We cross a mountain stream and ascent a mountain ridge, beyond with lies Bhrigu Lake. Depending on the snow conditions, we will descend a little and pitch our tents as close to the lake as possible. Overnight stay in tents. Meals: all meals.

DAY 3: BHRIGU LAKE Today is free for you to relax, unwind, maybe read a book, take pictures and explore the surrounding areas. The views are spectacular. This is one day you will not forget. Overnight stay in tents. Meals: all meals.

DAY 4: BHRIGU LAKE - VASHISHT - MANALI After breakfast, we cross a small meadow and then descend a steep ridge to reach the village of Vashisht which is famous for its hot springs. The descent offers great views of the entire Kullu valley. Once at Vashisht, we drive back to Manali. Our services end here. Meals: breakfast and lunch.

Expedition Detail

Day 1: Arrive in Manali On reaching Manali, check-in to the hotel and relax till afternoon. Have your lunch and then leave for your motorbike ride. Go all the way riding on the Himalayan riding premier through the rough roads along the Kullu Valley. There are tricky bends and stretches the road which will help you know the torque characteristics of the bike. Enjoy the ride to the beautiful Kullu Valley. Later, come back to the hotel and have a comfortable stay.

Day 2: Manali – Jispa (150 km) Wake up early this morning and then leave for a day full of adventure. So, you start the day with Rohtang Pass (3978 meters). This would really turn out to be a challenge as the roads you will bike through are really bad and the weather conditions are also uncertain. Further, you will get to face millions of people moving here and there to see the snow. Pass through the Lahaul Valley where there are mountains capped with snow all around. Enjoy mountain dinner of steamed momos and thukpa. Thukpa is a very famous traditional Himalayan soup which is made by mixing meat and vegetables.

Day 3: Jispa – Tso morir (312 km) It takes 6 hours, 14 minutes to travel from Jispa to Tso Moriri. Approximate driving distance between Jispa and Tso Moriri is 312 kms. Chumathang pateau located on the way to Tso Moriri is famous for the boiling hot sulphur springs by the icy cold Indus river. The Chumathang hotsprings like other hot springs is also considered curative in nature!A High Altitude Alpine lake.

Day 4: Tso moriri – Leh (220 km) Explore the culture and geography of Ladakh in the next few days. Visit Shey, Thiksey and other Leh monasteries.

Day 5: Leh to nubra - (120 km) The major attraction of a trip to Nubra Valley is going over the so called or hyped, highest motorable road, Khardung La Pass Being at lower altitude than Leh at an average altitude of 10000 Feet or 3048 Mtrs, Nubra Valley is an ideal place to fit into the acclimatization schedule of your Ladakh trip once you reach Leh. Climbing to very high altitude of Khardung La from Leh and then sleeping at low altitude of Nubra Valley DOES HELP tremendously in acclimatization. Thus, apart from the magnificent vistas on offer, Nubra Valley has a hidden advantage with respect to acclimatization as well which will eventually help your trip be more successful.

Day 6: Nubia to Leh (115 km) We suggest you to give a well-deserved wash down to your dusty bikes & fix all the mechanical bugs that you've picked up along the way. We can take the opportunity to explore Leh on foot and check out the old fort that looks over the city. In the evening, take rest in the peaceful residential suburb of Changspa, in one of the many garden restaurants in the area. Later, enjoy a barbecue night under the star-studded sky, with huge glasses of beer or the local hooch-chhang.

Day 7: Leh – Sarchu (ride 215 km) This day, you will get back to the biking track through which you reached Leh. En-route, you will see Pang and ride through to reach Sarchu. Sarchu lies in the middle of the two beautiful destinations, Manali and Leh. Have a comfortable stay at night in the camp.

Day 8: Sarchu – Manali (ride 215 km) In the morning, drive through the Sarchu plain and reach the Baralaccha plain till noon. Enjoy a smooth ride up the Lahaul ranges and reach Rohtang pass. Rohtang pass will come with a number of challenges with mini-rivers of mud. Have a comfortable stay at the hotel in Manali.

Day 9: Manali This is the last day of the adventurous bike tour. Our service ends here. Paragliding and rafting can be a good option in manali .With some nice massage in Backpackers.
